In 2016 the Peruvian Ministry of Women and Vulnerable populations- Peru’s are of government which regulates adoption, closed the door for all foreign adoption. Happily, this door has been reopened and presently Peruvians as well as foreigners from countries who have signed The Hague Convention can adopt Peruvian children. Pray that the hundreds of Peruvian children who lack parents will be able to make it quickly through the legal quagmire of paperwork and be placed in loving families.
The assembly of the Lord’s people in Pueblo Nuevo have a continued outreach in
which twice a month one or more brothers and or sisters travels to the town of Pelingara. Since the beginning of this work, approximately 10 people have gotten saved and several more are studying the Word. In February a VBS was held for children in this area.
